Arlin Robins was a co-director, with Susin McIntire, of the Arlin & Sumara Dancers in Northern Illinois. She was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the Chicago area (SCA name: "Tree-Girt-See"). Her romantic partner at that time, Tom Delaney, was a drummer for the troupe. Another of the male musicians for the group played a very inspired Appalachian Lap Dulcimer as accompaniment to the dancers.
