The Dreadnaught is a 90-foot replica of an Elizabethan-era privateer ship that will drop anchor at the south end of Lake Elizabeth for the 2006 season. It is intended to serve as a museum of sorts.
The marvelous, triple-masted vessel, a project three years in the making, is the vision of Michael Breza, who brings extensive museum experience to designing and fitting his ship.
Special maritime activities and events themed around this addition will be planned for the 2006 season, much like the Town Square Public House in 2004.
The building will begin in Winter 2005 and progress will be reported on the Official Site.
