Sir Edward Coke

Sir Edward Coke was attorney general to Queen Elizabeth Tudor. The historical Sir Edward was not made attorney general until 1593, but this Sir Edward exists in 1574 in perpetuity.

Until the end of the 2002 season, the character of Sir Edward was played by Jim Owczarski. After Jim left the Faire, the character was retired.

However, you can still see Sir Edward in a show with Jack Bottoms at the Stronghold Olde English Faire.
