The Town Square Public House was built in 2004 to anchor a developing town square at the intersection of Farnham's Way and Guild Hall Row, south of the old Apple Tree.
The building incorporates a 56-foot tall tower and provides performance areas for cast members on seven second-floor balconies. A variety of beverages are served in its six first-floor counters. It is currently largest building at Bristol.
Construction began on March 15 and to promote the construction of the house, the BRF invited patrons to purchase a Signature Brick to be installed on the first-floor walls of the building, where their names were engraved on the brick that those patrons purchased.
Various acts are regularly scheduled here, including the [Consorte of Somesorte], Bristol Buskin Frolic Singalong and Robin Hood & Little John Smile Time Variety Show.
